Clay is authentic Moroccan zellige from Tiles of Ezra, handmade in ceramic with an unglazed finish. The 4 × 4 in square tiles vary naturally in colour, tone, texture, and shape.

Variation in colour, tone, shape, thickness, and surface is an expected part of handmade zellige. Images and samples are representative.
Supplier-backed guidance
Every tile is handmade. Differences in colour, tone, shape, and thickness, along with irregular edges, hairline cracks, dimples, pits, or chips, are expected characteristics of authentic zellige.
Do not soak unglazed Clay zellige. Use a professional installer, clean the front and back of the tiles, blend tiles from every box, and dry-lay the area before installation so natural variation is distributed intentionally.
Unglazed zellige requires sealing in accordance with the supplier guide. Clean with a pH-neutral product or mild soapy water, and avoid strong acids, alkaline cleaners, and abrasive tools.

Samples are not full sized and vary from collection to collection.
