Roots brings the warmth of handmade terracotta to full-body porcelain. Each extruded piece varies slightly in tone, edge and surface, giving walls and floors a natural, crafted rhythm in six earthy colours.

Where it can go

Indoor and outdoor floors and walls, showers, swimming-pool wall coverings, saunas and steam rooms, shop windows and kitchen backsplashes. Behind a cooktop, keep the tile at least 20 cm (8 in) from open flames.

Installation

Extrusion gives every piece slight differences in size, surface and tone. Blend pieces from several boxes and lay them side by side without spacers: the joints form naturally and the tonal range reads as intended. Have your installer confirm the adhesive, substrate and application.

Technical performance

Frost, thermal-shock and chemical resistant. Stain resistance class 4. Breaking strength 30 N/mm². Deep abrasion 165 mm³. Unglazed porcelain, group BIa.
