Haiku

Haiku is the collection designed by Studio Pepe, composed of three shapes that combine to create different patterns. The number three returns in the inspiration to the work of Carlo Scarpa and the three-dimensional rhythm of his concrete architecture, as well as in the three-dimensionality of each piece, which by playing with light continuously creates new surfaces. Hence the name Haiku, which recalls a poetic form of Japanese literature capable of enclosing a universe of meaning in just three lines.

Natural variation

These tiles are handcrafted from natural raw materials and wet-pressed, so differences in size, flatness, surface and shade are characteristics of the material rather than defects. Use them to your advantage when laying out the pattern.

Mesh mounting

Tiles arrive fixed to a mesh backing and are ready for the installer. Half tiles are not supplied. Have a professional confirm the substrate, joints and fixing products before installation.

Care

Clean with a pH-neutral product or mild soapy water. Avoid acids and abrasive tools. Treat metallic and iridescent finishes gently, and confirm cleaning products with Arta before use.
