Bon Bon is a collection of handmade ceramic wall tiles in glazed terracotta and a glossy surface, which reminds of the glaze of candies. The mood of this collection is fresh and playful because of its pastel colours and the Provenza shape which stimulates the imagination of the designers, by its many special pieces and its characteristic arched edges. Craquelé is a feature, not a defect

On the craquelé colours the fine network of surface lines is a deliberate decorative effect, so the standard crazing-resistance test does not apply to them. The glossy surfaces are rated resistant to crazing. Expect the craquelé pattern to differ from tile to tile.

Natural variation

These are handmade tiles. Colour, tone, gloss and the arched edge can vary from piece to piece. Blend tiles from several boxes and dry-lay the area to distribute those differences.

Care

Clean with a pH-neutral product or mild soapy water. Avoid acids and abrasive tools. The craquelé surfaces are more open than the glossy ones, so wipe spills promptly.
